Terms of Service

Last updated: April 30, 2026

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of LiveMap, operated by LiveMap LLC (“LiveMap,” “we,” “us”), 1173 Canton St, Roswell, GA 30075. They’re a contract between you and us. Please read them.

1. Acceptance

By creating an account, signing in, or using LiveMap in any way, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you don’t agree, don’t use LiveMap.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use LiveMap. If you’re under 18, you confirm that a parent or legal guardian has read these Terms and consents to your use of the service. By creating an account you represent that the information you provide is accurate and that you meet these requirements.

3. Your account

  • You’re responsible for everything that happens under your account.
  • Keep your password secret. We strongly recommend turning on multi-factor authentication.
  • One person, one account. Don’t share or sell access to your account.
  • Tell us immediately if you suspect your account has been compromised.

4. Acceptable use

When using LiveMap you agree not to:

  • Break the law, infringe anyone’s rights, or post content that does either.
  • Harass, threaten, dox, stalk, or impersonate other users.
  • Post another user’s real-time or precise location without their consent, including screenshots of their position on the map.
  • Engage in street racing, speed contests, illegal street takeovers, or other reckless or illegal activity on public roads. LiveMap does not sanction or reward any such activity, and using convoys, posts, or any other LiveMap feature to organize, promote, or coordinate it is a material breach of these Terms and may result in immediate termination.
  • Submit knowingly false reports (e.g., fake hazard, accident, or police reports) or otherwise mislead other users.
  • Use bots, emulators, GPS spoofers, mock-location tools, or any other technique to submit false location data, fake convoy participation, fake reports, or fake interactions.
  • Post sexually explicit content involving minors, violent threats, or content that promotes self-harm.
  • Scrape, crawl, or harvest data from LiveMap by automated means without our written permission.
  • Reverse-engineer the service, probe its security, or interfere with its normal operation.
  • Upload malware or attempt to gain unauthorized access to accounts, systems, or data.
  • Resell or commercially redistribute LiveMap or its content without our written permission.
  • Create accounts to evade a ban or suspension.

We may remove content, suspend accounts, or limit features to enforce these rules.

5. Your content and the license you give us

You keep ownership of the content you post on LiveMap (photos, videos, posts, comments, reviews, messages, vehicle info, event details). By posting it, you grant LiveMap a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, modify (e.g., resize, transcode), display, and distribute that content for the purpose of operating and promoting LiveMap. This license ends for new uses when you delete the content, except that we may retain backups for a reasonable period and we can’t recall copies that other users or services have already received.

Important: photos, videos, and files you upload are stored on Google Cloud Storage and served from publicly accessible URLs. Anyone with the link can open the file directly, even without a LiveMap account, and even after you delete the post. See section 4 of our Privacy Policy for the full explanation. Don’t upload anything you wouldn’t be comfortable being public.

You represent that you own or have permission to share everything you post, and that your content doesn’t violate anyone’s rights.

6. Convoys and location sharing

When you turn on location sharing, join a convoy, or post a location, you’re choosing to share that information with other users based on your privacy settings. Once shared, we can’t control what recipients do with it. Only share your location with people you trust and review your sharing settings regularly.

7. Driving safety

Don’t use LiveMap while driving in a way that distracts you from the road. Set your route, start your convoy, or check the map before you drive, or pull over safely. You are responsible for obeying all traffic laws and for the safe operation of your vehicle. LiveMap is a navigation aid, not a substitute for attention, judgment, or following the law.

8. Crowdsourced reports

Reports of speed checks, police, hazards, road conditions, and similar information are submitted by other users. They may be inaccurate, outdated, or wrong. You are responsible for following posted speed limits and traffic laws regardless of what LiveMap shows.

9. Subscriptions and payments

LiveMap offers paid subscriptions and other paid features. On the website, payments are processed by Stripe. On mobile, in-app purchases are processed by Apple (App Store) or Google (Play Store) under their terms.

  • Subscriptions auto-renew at the end of each billing period unless you cancel before renewal.
  • Cancel anytime: web subscriptions through the billing portal, mobile subscriptions through your App Store or Play Store account.
  • Refunds: web purchases are reviewed case-by-case at support@livemap.co. Mobile purchases are subject to Apple’s and Google’s refund policies and must be requested through them.
  • We may change prices or features with reasonable advance notice.
  • Taxes may be added at checkout based on your jurisdiction.

10. Creator marketplace and payouts

If you sell products, tickets, subscriptions, or other paid offerings on LiveMap, you do so through Stripe Connect and agree to Stripe’s Connected Account Agreement. You’re responsible for the legality and accuracy of what you sell, for delivering it, for customer support, and for collecting and remitting any taxes that apply. LiveMap may retain a platform fee on each transaction; the fee in effect at the time of sale will be disclosed in the seller dashboard. Payouts are handled by Stripe according to their payout schedule and may be held or reversed if a transaction is disputed or violates these Terms.

11. Third-party services

LiveMap relies on third-party services including Mapbox (maps and geocoding), Stripe (payments), Apple and Google (sign-in, push notifications, in-app purchases), Google Cloud (storage and hosting), Resend (email), and OpenAI (AI features). When you use LiveMap features that depend on these services, their terms also apply. We’re not responsible for outages, errors, or behavior of third-party services.

12. AI features

LiveMap may offer AI-assisted features (route suggestions, recommendations, summaries). AI output can be wrong or misleading. Treat it as informational, verify anything important, and don’t rely on it for safety, legal, medical, or financial decisions. When you use AI features, the text you submit may be sent to our AI provider (OpenAI) to generate a response.

13. Suspension and termination by us

We may suspend or terminate your account, remove content, or limit access to features if we reasonably believe you’ve violated these Terms, put other users or the service at risk, or where required by law. Where appropriate, we’ll give you notice and a chance to fix the issue first.

14. Deleting your account

You can delete your account at any time from Settings → Security → Delete Account on the website or the mobile app. Your account is deactivated immediately and permanently deleted after 30 days. If you sign back in within those 30 days, the deletion is cancelled. After 30 days your data is removed as described in section 11 of our Privacy Policy.

15. Disclaimers

LiveMap is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy, and availability. We don’t guarantee that LiveMap will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure, that map data and user-generated reports will be accurate, or that the service will meet your expectations.

16. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, LiveMap LLC and its officers, directors, employees, and agents will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill, or other intangible losses, arising out of or relating to your use of LiveMap. Our total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or LiveMap is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim, or (b) one hundred US dollars (US$100). Some jurisdictions don’t allow these limitations, so they may not apply to you in full.

17. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless LiveMap LLC and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claim, demand, loss, or expense (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of your use of LiveMap, your content, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any law or third-party right.

18. Governing law and venue

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, USA, without regard to its conflict of law rules. You and LiveMap agree to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Fulton County, Georgia for any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or LiveMap, except for an individual claim that you are entitled to bring in small-claims court.

19. Disputes

If you have a dispute with us, please contact support@livemap.co first — most issues can be resolved informally. If we can’t resolve it, either party may bring an individual claim in small-claims court (where eligible) or pursue other legal remedies allowed by law. You and LiveMap agree that any dispute will be brought on an individual basis only and not as part of a class or representative action, to the extent permitted by law.

20. Time limit on claims

Any claim or cause of action you have arising out of or relating to these Terms or LiveMap must be filed within one (1) year after the claim or cause of action arose. Otherwise, it is permanently barred. This does not apply where the law of your jurisdiction requires a longer period.

21. Apple-specific terms (iOS users)

If you downloaded LiveMap from the Apple App Store, the following also applies:

  • These Terms are between you and LiveMap LLC only, not Apple. Apple is not responsible for LiveMap or its content.
  • Apple has no obligation to provide any maintenance or support for the iOS app.
  • If the iOS app fails to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple will refund the purchase price of the app (if any). To the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple has no other warranty obligation.
  • LiveMap LLC, not Apple, is responsible for addressing any claims by you or a third party relating to the iOS app, including product liability claims, claims that the app fails to conform to legal or regulatory requirements, and claims arising under consumer protection or similar legislation.
  • LiveMap LLC, not Apple, is responsible for investigating, defending, settling, and discharging any third-party intellectual property claim that the iOS app or your use of it infringes that third party’s rights.
  • You represent that you are not located in a country subject to a U.S. government embargo or designated as a “terrorist supporting” country, and that you are not on any U.S. government list of prohibited or restricted parties.
  • Apple and Apple’s subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms with respect to the iOS app, and upon your acceptance of these Terms Apple has the right (and is deemed to have accepted the right) to enforce these Terms against you as a third-party beneficiary.

22. Google-specific terms (Android users)

If you downloaded LiveMap from the Google Play Store, you acknowledge that these Terms are between you and LiveMap LLC only, not Google. Google is not responsible for LiveMap, its content, or any support relating to it. Your use of the Android app must also comply with the Google Play Terms of Service.

23. Export compliance

You may not use, export, or re-export LiveMap except as authorized by United States law and the laws of the jurisdiction in which LiveMap was obtained. You represent that you are not located in a country that is subject to a U.S. government embargo or that has been designated by the U.S. government as a “terrorist supporting” country, and that you are not listed on any U.S. government list of prohibited or restricted parties.

24. Survival

The following sections survive termination of these Terms or your account: 5 (User content and license), 15 (Disclaimers), 16 (Limitation of liability), 17 (Indemnification), 18 (Governing law and venue), 19 (Disputes), 20 (Time limit on claims), and 27 (General), along with any other provision that by its nature should survive.

25. Your account is personal to you

Your LiveMap account is personal to you and may not be sold, transferred, or assigned to anyone else. In the event of your death or incapacity, please contact us at support@livemap.co with appropriate documentation. We will close the account and, on request from a verified next of kin or estate representative, treat it as a deletion request under section 14.

26. Electronic communications

You consent to receive communications from us electronically, including by email, push notification, in-app message, or by posting notices in the service. You agree that any agreements, notices, disclosures, and other communications we provide to you electronically satisfy any legal requirement that such communications be in writing.

27. General

  • Entire agreement. These Terms and our Privacy Policy are the entire agreement between you and LiveMap regarding LiveMap and supersede any prior agreements.
  • Severability. If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable, that provision will be enforced to the maximum extent permitted, and the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
  • No waiver. Our failure to enforce any provision of these Terms is not a waiver of our right to do so later.
  • Assignment. You may not assign these Terms or any rights under them without our prior written consent. We may assign these Terms in connection with a merger, acquisition, reorganization, or sale of all or substantially all of our assets.
  • No third-party beneficiaries. These Terms do not create any third-party beneficiary rights, except for the rights granted to Apple in section 21.
  • Headings. Section headings are for convenience only and do not affect interpretation.

28. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. For material changes, we’ll provide notice by email or an in-app notice at least 15 days before they take effect. Non-material changes (typos, clarifications, reorganization) take effect when posted. Your continued use of LiveMap after the effective date means you accept the updated Terms. If you don’t agree, you can delete your account before the changes take effect.
