Terms of Service

By accessing or using LiveMap (“we”, “us”, “our”), you agree to abide by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use LiveMap. If you are under 18, you must have parental consent. By creating an account, you confirm that you meet these requirements.

2. Acceptable Use

You agree to use LiveMap responsibly and lawfully. You may not:

• Violate any applicable laws or infringe the rights of others
• Share false location reports or misleading information
• Harass, threaten, or stalk other users
• Use LiveMap while driving in a manner that creates a safety hazard
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, tamper with, or disrupt the service
• Use automated tools to scrape data or overload our systems
• Submit malicious code, viruses, or attempt unauthorized access
• Impersonate another person or entity
• Create fake accounts or engage in spam
• Resell or commercially exploit LiveMap without permission
• Bypass security features or access controls

3. Driving Safety

Do not use LiveMap while actively driving. Always prioritize road safety. Pull over safely before interacting with the app. LiveMap is intended as a navigation aid and should not replace your judgment or attention to the road.

Crowdsourced reports (speed checks, police, hazards) are user-generated and may not be accurate or current. You are responsible for obeying all traffic laws regardless of information in the app.

4. User Content

You retain ownership of content you post (photos, comments, reviews, reports). By posting, you grant LiveMap a worldwide, non-exclusive license to use, display, and distribute your content within the app.

You are responsible for the content you post. Content must not violate laws, infringe intellectual property, or contain harmful material. We reserve the right to remove content that violates these Terms.

5. Location Sharing

When you share your location, you consent to displaying your real-time position to friends, convoy members, or the public based on your privacy settings. You can disable location sharing at any time.

LiveMap is not responsible for how other users use your shared location information.

6. Premium Subscriptions

Premium features require a paid subscription processed through Stripe. Subscriptions auto-renew unless canceled. Refunds are provided on a case-by-case basis in accordance with our refund policy.

We may modify premium features, pricing, or subscription terms with advance notice.

7. Third-Party Services

LiveMap integrates with third-party services including Mapbox for maps, OpenAI for AI assistance, and Stripe for payments. Your use of these features is subject to their respective terms of service.

8. AI-Generated Content

LiveMap may provide AI-powered navigation suggestions and recommendations. These are for informational purposes only and should not be considered professional advice. You are responsible for verifying information and using it at your own discretion.

9. Limitation of Liability

LiveMap is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or suitable for any particular purpose.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all liability for damages or losses, including but not limited to direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of LiveMap, accidents, injuries, property damage, lost data, or security incidents, even if we have been advised of such possibilities.

You use LiveMap at your own risk. We are not liable for user-generated content, inaccurate location reports, map errors, or actions taken based on information in the app.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless LiveMap and its team from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the service, violation of these Terms, or infringement of any rights.

11. Account Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, engage in abusive behavior, or misuse the service. You may delete your account at any time through app settings.

12. Modifications to Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Material changes will be posted here and notified via email or in-app notification. Continued use of LiveMap after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes shall be resolved in the appropriate courts.
