These apply to every community in the challenge.
Who runs it
The LiveMap Community Challenge is run by LiveMap LLC (“LiveMap”).
Who can take part
Any community in the LiveMap app can take part, except communities run by LiveMap or its staff. The community owner must be 18 or older to receive a cash prize and must follow the LiveMap Terms of Service.
How to enter
Create or run a community in the LiveMap app and grow it. There’s no entry form and no fee: every eligible community takes part automatically, including invite-only communities that don’t appear in the public standings.
How winners are decided
The first three eligible communities to reach 1,000 real members win, in the order they reach it. When a community reaches 1,000, LiveMap checks its members for fake or bot accounts before confirming its place. Accounts that fail the check don’t count.
Prizes
1st place: $1,000 and a diamond profile frame for the owner. 2nd place: $500 and a gold profile frame. 3rd place: $250 and a silver profile frame. All three winning communities also get the verified badge, a feature from LiveMap in the LiveMap Official community and on LiveMap’s socials, and 3 months of community boosts. Total cash prizes: $1,750.
Claiming a prize
LiveMap contacts the owner of each winning community in the app and by email to arrange payment. Cash prizes are paid to the community owner.
Taxes
Winners are responsible for any taxes on their prize.
Fair play
LiveMap may disqualify a community or its owner for trying to manipulate the challenge, for example with fake or bot accounts, or for breaking the LiveMap Terms of Service.
When it ends
The challenge ends when LiveMap confirms the third-place community. Confirmed winners are shown on this page.
